Tournaments
Bay Area Cricket Alliance (BACA) conducts various tournaments throughout the year. Below are the list of tournaments that are conducted by BACA on an annual basis. Apart from these tournaments, BACA also conducts various tournaments like six-a-side, eight-a-side, best all-rounder, etc. from time to time. BACA is a premier league in greater San Francisco area offering players to be part of wide variety of tournaments while preparing players to compete at national and international level.

| Tournament Format: |
The first edition of this tournament was played in the year 2000. This tournament is played on a round-robin basis. Since it is a round-robin format, the number of games per season vary from year to year depending on the number of teams participating in a given season. The application forms are generally released in the month of February every year with last date for sending in the filled-in application being end of March. The tournament kicks off around mid-April and lasts till first week of October with breaks during long weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, & Labor Day). The team with maximum points is declared the Champion of Summer League. |

The tournament was introduced in year 2007 under the leadership of Rajesh Padhi who was the Chairman at that time. The format of this tournament depends on the number of teams in a given year. The popularity of this tournament seems to be skyrocketing at an astounding rate especially when the FINAL of 2009 was played under fllodlights. This was the first time any league in the area hosted a game under the lights. Generally, this tournament is conducted in the month of March as a season kick-off. The application forms for this tournament are released in the Jan-Feb timeframe. |

| Tournament Summary: |
The Knock-Out Cup tournament was launched in the year 2000. This tournament is played to mark the end of the season. All teams participating in BACA Summer League get a chance to be part of this tournament. At times, some teams start out weak but build up momentum half-way through or beyond during the Summer League. This tournament gives chance to such teams to have another go at a tournament championship. As the name suggests, this tournament is strictly played on a knock-out basis and is played in the month of October-November. |
