Recently six BACA members under went ICC level 1 coaching courses that we hosted by the North West Region. Instructors Mr. Wendell Coppin - ICC-Americas Regional Development Officer and Ms. Stephanie Power . WICB Coach Tutor conducted the certifications. The level 1 course has been specifically designed by the ICC to meet the highest international standards, and will be extremely valuable for club and school coaches, PE teachers, keen parents and club-cricket players, to help improve the quantity and quality of local cricket instructors. Attendees learned how to teach basic batting, bowling, fielding, and wicket keeping skills, in addition to the art of coaching, planning, and how to communicate effectively.
