The July 4th Cricket Festival tournament was introduced in the year 1999 to mark the launch of BACA as a new league in greater San Francisco area. In the first edition, BACA hosted a team each from Arizona Cricket League and South Florida Cricket League. Since year 2000, the format was changed to make it a All-Star BACA Championship. Every year, all teams participating in BACA's Summer League are divided into four groups named Blue, Red, Green & Yellow. Each group of teams field one team each. Since it is played on a round-robin basis, 6 games get played in 3 days. The team with highest points in this tourney is declared the Champion. Since this is an all-star game, the best players of BACA play in it and all games are power packed.
